When we focus on the language of custom, we invite questions about lead time, price, and availability. The listener might get lost in their own uncertainty about selling a premium solution. When we focus on the basics of our line (soundbars, in-ceilings, etc), we can fall prey to the assumption that we are just another speaker provider and we lose those distinguishing characteristics that define us. Lead our customer with the larger story of design, connect with them on the reliability and functionality of our solutions, and help them see the breadth of our line to know when to use what products and what products should be used where. With a powerful online customization tool, we intend to design ourselves into (though physically out of) the sales process for our dealers and integrators. The configurator should be capable of transforming our customization capabilities into designs that can be simply specified into any project.
